SCENE I:COURTNEY's room again. This time it's dark and you can see stars and a full moon out the window of the room. COURTNEY is in bed in her pajamas sleeping.
The window opens up and the ZOMBIE with the same glowing red eyes creeps in.
ZOMBIE [whispering]: Hee hee hee. You, Courtney, will have the honor of being my last victim.
COURTNEY wakes up and sits straight up.
COURTNEY: Who's there?
ZOBMBIE doesn't answer. COURTNEY grabs the flashlight in one hand and the high-heeled shoe in another. She shines the flashlight around the room, which is empty.
COURTNEY [scared]: Whoever's there, you'd better come out, I'm warning you...!
ZOMBIE doesn't answer.
COURTNEY lowers the shoe.
COURTNEY [muttering]: It must have been a dream. It must have been a dream. Oh please, God, let it have been a dream!
COURTNEY turns on a light.
Camera shows COURTNEY. She suddenly gets a very scared expression on her face and screams while staring at something apparently very scary behind the camera. As Courtney screams a thunderclap and Scene II begins.
SCENE II: It's a thunderstorm. Rain is pouring down outside of BRAD's house, and lightning is clipping the sky. The thunderclap from the last scene finishes up. BRAD's house is pale colored and looks much like COURTNEY's but flipped and with a garden of tulips under the window. BRAD's sillouhette holding a phone is viewable through the window and the yellow shade. COURTNEY is in pajamas and looks like she's sleeping.
BRAD: Yeah, I'll be right over!
BRAD's sillouhette drops the phone and runs to the door. BRAD bursts out of the door while pulling on a jacket. He runs through the neighborhood to COURTNEY's house a few blocks away.
BRAD rips open the door. COURTNEY'S MOM is standing in the hallway white-faced. She doesn't say anything to BRAD and doesn't seem to notice him until she points up the stairway.
BRAD runs up the stairs to COURTNEY's room and enters the room as a loud thunder claps. He grabs the dropped flashlight off the floor (still turned-on) and shines it around the dark room. It seems to be empty until he shines it on the bed where COURTNEY is laying.
BRAD runs over and grabs COURTNEY's wrist with the next line.
BRAD: Courtney! Courtney, are you all right?
As BRAD says the next line he takes COURTNEY's pulse.
BRAD: Your mom heard you scream and...
BRAD gets a look of horror on his face. He drops COURTNEY's wrist as another loud thunderclap rattles the windows.
BRAD: No... no! Courtney, wake up!
BRAD shakes COURTNEY but she doesn't "wake up".
BRAD: Courtney, this isn't funny! Wake up?
COURTNEY doesn't.
BRAD: You're being Sleeping Beauty then? Fine!
BRAD kisses COURTNEY lightly on the lips.
COURTNEY doesn't wake up.
BRAD looks very scared. Then Brad notices a shadow on the floor in a flash of lightning.
The camera does NOT show what's making the shadow. Camera shows BRAD. His eyes follow the shadow to what's causing it and he gets a very scared look on his face and looks like he's about to scream. The camera cuts to black for a few seconds and all is silent.
